Stamp Something Sketch Challenge

Hi, I was madly scrambling to finish my card for the paper garden projects challenge and realized I used the sketch challenge provided by stamp something, well...it resembles it somewhat :) I tweaked the shorter ribbon piece and nested the top two pieces, but I like the result. The background is stamped, the next layer is the stringing along layer from Technique Junkies Feb 09 issue, next is a rolling stamp from stampin up and then my nested Clear Dollar chicken stamp. In there somewhere is yellow ribbon that I divided to frame the Chick'n In saying from Clear Dollar.

Thanks

I created a card for a couple of challenges, and because I need a thank you card, and because I love my cuttlebug......
This card has a cuttlebugged background, the houndstooth,I inked the front of the folder with a lilac ink to create the shadowing effect. The layer in front is the challenge for the PCP cuttlebug group and the sketch is the sketch challenge for PCP this week. It also works for the Paper Garden Projects week 2 or week 3 sketch, see that here......Wow, that was productive :)For some reason this photo will not scan beautifully, the colours are off...the dewdrops are a light pink and the background is a pale purple/gray

Easter Cards

I used the Technique Junkies Gesso Resist....I couldn't resist!!! Acrylic paint underneith and gesso on top. The stamps are from Clear Dollar Stamps...I had a problem in that I can't stamp directly onto the resist paper, so wrecked some of the backgrounds :-(

CuttleBug Highlights

Cuttlebug highlights from the technique junkies....I think :)and nestabilities and twinkling H2O's to colour the image.....that will do for now as I have to get ready for work! I feel it still needs something...but what??

Tech Junkie Addict :)

Hi! I finished a few cards that I started last week. We played around with some of the Technique Junkies ideas and this is the result. The dark blue one is the duotone resist technique. I love it, will be doing more of that and think this card is cool! The stamp is CTMH, a new release this winter, coloured with CTMH markers...The oh boy is a studio G, dollar stamp that I won. The STringing along technique was fun, see the result of my 'almost' four year olds attempt! I confess I helped, but he really did do some of it. The stamp again is CTMH and this rocket is embossed first then coloured and put up on pop dots. We managed to get a lot of backgrounds done and these are just the ones I finished. Thanks for looking, love your comments :) they inspire me to keep posting here!

WAHOOO...three cards in one night. I hadn't been getting any scrap time, so my DH left me to my own amusement while he watched a movie (and cleaned up supper). This card is for my uncle who will be 60 this spring, commissioned by my mom. It is also for the humourous challenge on papergardenprojects over at PCP, you can visit themhere The inside says 'sometimes age shows up all by itself' with a tiny owl laughing as he flies by. I hope it meets with approval mom ;)....used the nesties for the saying. Sentiment CTMH, Owls and branch Clear Dollar Stamps.

Moose be time to play :)

Finally had a chance to play again. I just bought a bunch of new stamps from clear dollar stamps and have been itching to use them. I got the Garden Sheet from Rare Image Rubber Stamps too, which I want to get using (see the little Robin on the nest?)I love her artistry! However I needed to get some Birthday cards done that cried out for this little moose. For these cards, I used my cuttlebug and nesties, the metal strip is a coffee can seal run through the cuttlebug and embossing folder. hmmm, what did I forget to mention? oh yah...inside the sentiment is 'it moose be time for another birthday' with pine trees and ferns in the background (stamped)
